The 22nd EMMYS 2026 in Poros has been successfully completed

The 22nd EMMYS 2026 was completed with great success and took place from May 7 to May 10 in Poros.

At the opening of the exhibition, held on Thursday, May 7, 2026, attended were the Mayor of Poros Mr. Giorgos Koutouzis, the President of EPEST Mr. Filippos Venetopoulos, the President of the EMMYS Organizing Committee Mrs. Barbara Gabriel, as well as the Honorary President of EPEST and member of the EMMYS Organizing Committee Mr. Antonis Stelliatos.

The event was also honored by the presence of the President of CYBA Mrs. Nancy Van Winter, the government representative and Deputy Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection Mr. Konstantinos Katsafados, the representative of the Minister of Tourism Mrs. Olga Kefalogianni Mr. Konstantinos Zikos, as well as the Secretary General of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy Mr. Evangelos Kyriakopoulos.

Also present were the Deputy Regional Governor of the Islands Mr. Nikos Papageorgiou, the Vice President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping Mr. Giorgos Gavriil, the former Mayors of Poros Mr. Spyros Spyridon and Mr. Dimitris Strategos, the representative of EBEP Mr. Kostas Koronakis, the President of NAT Mrs. Georgia Maniati, the President of SITESAP Mr. Euthymis Bibis, the President of HYCA Mr. Giorgos Dagiamos, the President of CYBA Mrs. Tzina Polemi, as well as Rear Admiral (ret.) Mr. Vasilis Politis from the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping.

Present were also the Mayor of Troizinia–Methana Mr. Tasos Mougios, the Commander of KEP Poros Lt. Commander Mr. Spyros Kafantaris, the Police Commander of Poros Mr. Apostolos Thymiopoulos, the representative of the Chief of the Coast Guard and Port Authority of Poros Mr. Giorgos Spyridon, the President of the Port Fund of Poros Mr. Kostas Moutzouvis, as well as the owner of Sirene Blue Resort Mr. Spyros Lazaris.

From the Board of Directors of EPEST also attended the Vice President Mr. Dionysis Pylarinos, the Secretary General Mr. Panagos Lemos and the Treasurer Mr. Konstantinos Tsiagas.

Receptions and onboard events once again complemented the exhibition, offering unique networking and hospitality moments for participants. A special highlight of the program was the Yacht Chefs Competition, held in collaboration with Sustainable Sailing Greece and supported by Vatistas Fish as Official Chef Competition Partner. The judging panel included the distinguished chefs Giannis Markadakis and Ilias Kaziolis, the General Director of Gastronomos Angelos Rentoulas, as well as brokers Ann Casebourne and Sonja Pacher.

In the EMERALD category (vessels with daily charter up to €4,999), 1st place was awarded to Andreas Tsitsilianis, chef of the vessel BLUE ONE, 2nd place to Giannis Skarlatos, chef of the vessel Mamma’s, and 3rd place to Rafail Arapakis, chef of the vessel Valium 55.

In the DIAMOND category (vessels with daily charter from €5,000 and above), 1st place was awarded to Everest Brachimi, chef of the vessel ALENA, 2nd place to Dionysios Michailovits, chef of the vessel APHAEA, and 3rd place to Triantafyllos Pneumatikos, chef of the vessel SAMARA.

In the Tablescaping Competition, in the EMERALD category, Stefanos Tsamis from the vessel SAHANA was distinguished, while in the DIAMOND category the winner was Polina Politidou from the vessel ABOVE & BEYOND.

In the CYBA Designer Water Competition, in the EMERALD category the vessels Aurelia, EFkrati and King of Diamonds were distinguished, taking 1st, 2nd and 3rd place respectively. In the DIAMOND category, the first three places were taken by the vessels Crystal Mio, Elly and Crazy Horse.

In the Best Crew Competition, the award was won by the crew of the vessel Crazy Horse. All winners were awarded commemorative trophies and bouquets.

At the same time, a series of professional presentations and seminars took place on board the vessel Day Dream, focusing on modern developments in maritime tourism and yachting:

“The Future of Crewed Charter” by MMK Systems
“Greek Itineraries” by Adam Apostolopoulos
“Ankor’s Biggest Product Launch to Date” by Ankor Software

A total of 94 crewed vessels — Catamarans, Motor Yachts and Sailing Yachts — participated in the exhibition, covering the full range of vessels available for charter in the Greek market. In addition, 22 exhibitors active in the maritime tourism sector participated, while the exhibition was visited by 300 brokers from 25 countries and more than 2,500 visitors.
