PPA S.A.: Implementation of Donation of Six (6) Motorcycles to the Hellenic Coast Guard

Piraeus Port Authority S.A. (PPA S.A.) is pleased to announce the completion of an important donation to the Hellenic Coast Guard.

Specifically, the donation concerns six motorcycles, including five-year technical support, as well as the necessary equipment and related conversion works (beacon, siren, special lights and microphone installation). The donation also includes thirty sets of rider equipment consisting of helmets, gloves and boots. The total value of the donation amounts to €70,000.

The donation was delivered today to the Harbor Master of Piraeus, Mr. Angelos Grammateas, in the presence of the Deputy CEO of PPA S.A., Mr. Angelos Karakostas, as well as other executives of the Hellenic Coast Guard and PPA S.A.

This initiative forms part of the broader framework of the long-standing and excellent cooperation between PPA S.A. and the Hellenic Coast Guard, aiming to strengthen the operational capabilities of the Force and to support the valuable work it performs in ensuring the safety of maritime transport and in the ports of Greece. PPA S.A. recognizes the significant contribution of the Hellenic Coast Guard to the protection of citizens and the smooth operation of port facilities and this donation represents yet another expression of its commitment to cooperation and support.
