18.12.2025

For the second consecutive year, PCT (Piraeus Container Terminal) is standing by young people as they begin their journey into higher education, awarding five scholarships to first-year students for the 2025–2026 academic year.

PCT’s Scholarship Program, which was launched last year in the Municipality of Perama, is expanding this year its reach, to also include the Municipality of Keratsini–Drapetsona. At the same time, the overall amount of support has been increased, with five scholarships of €4,000 each being awarded, reaffirming the company’s commitment to providing meaningful support to young people in the local community.

The scholarships aim to facilitate access to higher education and to reward students’ effort and distinction in the Panhellenic Examinations, taking into account social and income-related criteria.

The award ceremony took place on Sunday, December 14, at PCT’s premises, in a warm gathering attended by the Management Team. The students and their families were welcomed by Deputy General Manager, Captain Luo Shijun, who extended his best wishes for academic progress and success, as they embark on this new chapter of their lives.

In his statement, Captain Luo Shijun noted:

At PCT, we believe in young people and in the power of effort. Through our Scholarship Program, we want to stand by them as they take their first steps in higher education and encourage them to pursue their dreams.”

The Scholarship Program forms part of PCT’s Corporate Social Responsibility program, through which the company consistently invests in education and supports the local communities in which it operates, guided by the belief that knowledge and young people are the foundation for a better future.
