Y/KNOT Invest Expects USD 3–5.5 Million in Revenue from the Newly Acquired Tanker AMETHYST Charter

Y/KNOT Invest, the Greek shipping company that paved the way for the presence of shipping companies on Euronext Athens, announces the first charter agreement for the tanker AMETHYST, which recently joined its fleet. The charter is already underway and is expected to last between 2.5 and 3.5 months.

The agreement is estimated to generate revenue between USD 3 million and USD 5.5 million over the charter period.

AMETHYST was acquired in late June for a total consideration of USD 44 million and was immediately deployed in the Company’s commercial operations. Y/KNOT Invest remains focused on executing its strategy, seeking to optimise the value of its investments and further strengthen its position in the international shipping market, with the aim of generating attractive returns for its shareholders.
