The collaboration begins in 2023, with the LPG tanker Marcellus Lady — the first LPG vessel treated with Azra Tech’s coating system. The post-application performance data was unambiguous: a doubledigit reduction in propulsion power demand at EEDI speed. Western Shipping did not need a second opinion.
