Andreas Thomopoulos, International Segment Business Development Head at Eurobank on the Future of Eurobank Services in Greece

02.11.2021

Navigating around a new set of rules and laws in a foreign country is always a challenge. That’s why we asked Andreas Thomopoulos from Eurobank to share his experience with developing services for foreign investors in Greece.

“At Eurobank, we have a large portfolio of foreign customers for who we developed a completely new set of services.”

As the Greek economy continues to grow, foreign investors are becoming more and more interested in the country. A booming tourist industry, a growing manufacturing sector, and a government with high ambitions are all reasons for this increased interest.

Operating in an international environment, Eurobank recognised the need to provide bespoke services to those who identify opportunities abroad. To this end, they have established dedicated customer service points and have launched products and services to better accommodate their specific needs.

Their integrated banking services for customers living abroad include:

• Golden Visa Management
• Non-Domestic Tax Residency
• Foreign Investor Services
• Remote Account Opening
