“All Greeks love their country… Some of us are just in a better position to help,” Panos Laskaridis, President of Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation told Maritimes TV in a recent interview.

The foundation’s work since 2007 with a library consisting of over 28,000 titles and a series of programs aimed at the promotion of Greek culture and Maritime Heritage is a strong example.

Mr. Laskaridis stressed that the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation, as well as other significant foundations linked to Greek shipowners, would not be in position to offer to Greece, if it wasn’t for revenues from Shipping.
