Xinhua seeks further cooperation with Spain’s EFE, Greece follows

He Ping, editor-in-chief of China’s Xinhua News Agency met with Jose Antonio Vera, president of Spain’s news agency EFE last week, pledging further cooperation between the two sides, before visiting Greece this week to seal a collaboration agreement with Greek national news agency ANA-MPA.

During the meeting in Madrid, He said Xinhua stands ready to work with EFE to strengthen its role as a bridge between the two countries and help the public better understand the China-Spain “comprehensive strategic partnership.”

Vera, for his part, voiced hope that He’s visit would lead to further cooperation and exchange between the two sides in the future.
