{"id":274709,"date":"2026-03-17T20:35:33","date_gmt":"2026-03-17T18:35:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/maritimes.gr\/?p=274709"},"modified":"2026-03-23T20:38:47","modified_gmt":"2026-03-23T18:38:47","slug":"bureau-veritas-certifies-everllences-digital-monitoring-solution-primeserv-assist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/maritimes.gr\/en\/bureau-veritas-certifies-everllences-digital-monitoring-solution-primeserv-assist\/","title":{"rendered":"Bureau Veritas Certifies Everllence\u2019s Digital Monitoring Solution, \u2018PrimeServ Assist\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Type Approval Certification streamlines access to SMART(MH3) additional class notation for Bureau Veritas classed vessels, strengthening Everllence\u2019s leadership in maritime digitalisation<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday, March 17, 2026<\/p>\n<p>Everllence has been awarded Smartship Software Type Approval Certification (TAC) and Smart Service Supplier recognition by Bureau Veritas Marine &amp; Offshore (BV) for its PrimeServ Assist services, confirming compliance with the requirements for the SMART(MH3) additional class notation.<\/p>\n<p>SMART(MH3) is an optional class notation awarded by BV to vessels equipped with advanced digital technologies that enhance operational efficiency, safety, maintenance strategies and decision\u2011making, effectively classifying vessels as \u2018augmented ships\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>With this recognition, Everllence can significantly shorten the pathway for BV-classed vessels seeking SMART(MH3) additional class notation. The SmartShip software Type Approval covers approximately 80% of the required verification, validation and documentation, leaving only vessel\u2011specific elements to be completed by the shipowners to achieve full class approval.<\/p>\n<p>Scope of Certification<br \/>\nThe certification was granted as part of the classification of two newbuilds built for Wah Kwong Maritime Transport.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the approval process, BV reviewed and audited Everllence\u2019s:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CEON cloud platform supporting PrimeServ Assist<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0PrimeServ Assist monitoring and advisory service for both two\u2011stroke and four\u2011stroke engines<\/li>\n<li>Two\u2011stroke Remote Operation Centres, with four\u2011stroke capabilities to follow.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Alex Gregg-Smith \u2013 President, Marine &amp; Offshore at Bureau Veritas<\/strong> \u2013 said: \u201c<em>This approval reflects the growing role of class-recognised digital solutions in strengthening vessel reliability and operational performance. Everllence\u2019s certification demonstrates how remote monitoring and smart systems can be effectively incorporated into Bureau Veritas\u2019 SMART(MH3) framework, giving shipowners confidence to advance digitalisation while supporting their objectives for safety, performance and optimised maintenance.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hare Ram Sah \u2013 General Manager, Venture Marine Services, Wah Kwong Group<\/strong> \u2013 said: \u201c<em>We are proud to have played a connecting role \u2013 bringing the maker, class and stakeholders together to achieve this milestone.
