For the second consecutive year, PCT (Piraeus Container Terminal) is standing by young people as they begin their journey into higher education, awarding five scholarships to first-year students for the 2025\u20132026 academic year.<\/p>\n

PCT\u2019s Scholarship Program, which was launched last year in the Municipality of Perama, is expanding this year its reach, to also include the Municipality of Keratsini\u2013Drapetsona. At the same time, the overall amount of support has been increased, with five scholarships of \u20ac4,000 each being awarded, reaffirming the company\u2019s commitment to providing meaningful support to young people in the local community.<\/p>\n

The scholarships aim to facilitate access to higher education and to reward students\u2019 effort and distinction in the Panhellenic Examinations, taking into account social and income-related criteria.<\/p>\n

The award ceremony took place on Sunday, December 14, at PCT\u2019s premises, in a warm gathering attended by the Management Team. The students and their families were welcomed by Deputy General Manager, Captain Luo Shijun, who extended his best wishes for academic progress and success, as they embark on this new chapter of their lives.<\/p>\n

In his statement, Captain Luo Shijun<\/strong> noted:<\/p>\n

\u201cAt PCT, we believe in young people and in the power of effort. Through our Scholarship Program, we want to stand by them as they take their first steps in higher education and encourage them to pursue their dreams.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

The Scholarship Program forms part of PCT\u2019s Corporate Social Responsibility program, through which the company consistently invests in education and supports the local communities in which it operates, guided by the belief that knowledge and young people are the foundation for a better future<\/em>.<\/p>\n

About PCT<\/strong><\/em>: Piraeus Container Terminal, one of the leading container terminals in the Mediterranean region, is a company founded in Greece, and a fully controlled subsidiary of COSCO SHIPPING Ports Limited (a leading container terminal operator worldwide). As of October 1st 2009, PCT S.A. has undertaken for 35 years the implementation of the Concession Agreement for Piers II and III, which, following an international tender process, PPA S.A. assigned to COSCO Pacific Limited (now COSCO SHIPPING Ports Limited), to which the tender was awarded.
