Lloyd\u2019s Register (LR) has signed a\u00a0global platinum partnership with the Energy Industries Council (EIC), the world-leading trade association for the energy supply chain, strengthening its position across international markets and major industry events.<\/p>\n
The agreement marks the first time LR has joined the EIC at platinum level, providing the organisation with\u00a0a prominent presence at leading\u00a0global industry gatherings including ADIPEC in Abu Dhabi, the Offshore Technology Conference in Houston and the World Future Energy Summit in 2026.<\/p>\n
Through this new platinum-level partnership,\u00a0LR will\u00a0support\u00a0EIC trade delegations and\u00a0facilitate\u00a0networking initiatives, gaining access to senior-level business forums focused on decarbonisation,\u00a0financing\u00a0and regulatory reform.<\/p>\n
For EIC\u2019s member companies\u00a0\u2013 totalling more than\u00a0950\u00a0across the globe\u00a0–\u00a0the partnership will bring Lloyd\u2019s Register\u2019s assurance and risk\u00a0expertise\u00a0directly into trade missions, market intelligence\u00a0briefings\u00a0and supply chain forums.<\/p>\n
LR will feature alongside EIC at several major international events over the next 12 months, including Hydrogen Technology Expo Europe, the World Nuclear Exhibition and\u00a0WindEnergy\u00a0Hamburg. The company will also support EIC\u2019s trade missions to\u00a0emerging\u00a0energy\u00a0markets such as Mozambique,\u00a0Guyana\u00a0and Nigeria.<\/p>\n
Together, LR and EIC will support the global energy supply chain to de-risk complex projects, open new export routes and\u00a0contribute to making energy transition investments more bankable and deliverable.<\/p>\n
