Nikos Christodoulides, President of the Republic of Cyprus<\/p>\n<p>RANG THE CLOSING BELL\u00a0AT THE NEW YORK STOCK EXCHANGE<\/p>\n<p>Held in conjunction with the\u00a0\u201c3rd Capital Link Cyprus Business Forum\u201d\u00a0New York City, Friday, April 4, 2025<\/p>\n<p>Within the context of the \u201c3rd Capital Link Cyprus Business Forum\u201d, the New York Stock Exchange organized a special ceremony in honor of Cyprus with the cooperation of Safe Bulkers, Inc., which is listed on NYSE (NYSE: SB).<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Polys Hajioannou, CEO, Chairman and Director of Safe Bulkers, Inc. with the President of the Republic of Cyprus H.E. Nikos Christodoulides, along with members of the Cypriot government and other distinguished members\u00a0of the business community, rang the \u201cClosing Bell\u201d on Friday, April 4, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) flew the Cypriot flag together with the US and Safe Bulkers flags, on Wall Street and issued special commemorative medals for the occasion.<\/p>\n<p>Welcome remarks were given by Mr. Chris Taylor, Chief Development Officer, NYSE.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Mr. Polys Hajioannou, CEO, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer &#8211; Safe Bulkers, Inc.<\/strong> \u201c<em>We are proud to celebrate, the ten-year relocation of our headquarters in the Republic of Cyprus by ringing together with H.E.
