Prisma Electronics is glad to announce the successful completion of the project “Miscellaneous EGSE” for the ESA mission “Solar Orbiter”. The engagement of Prisma Electronics was in the manufacturing of complex cables and harnesses and equipment under Space requirements, used for the testing of the satellite.<\/p>\n

The participation of the Company in the project was considered a complete success, given the “Letter of Commendation” of AIRBUS DS to Prisma, which acknowledged the excellent quality of the deliverables.<\/p>\n

The mission is essential to learn more about the Sun-Earth connection. We live inside a giant bubble of plasma generated by the Sun that surrounds the entire Solar System, within which we are prey to space weather.<\/p>\n

Solar Orbiter will launch on a NASA-provided Atlas V 411. The launch is currently scheduled in the early hours of 6 February 2020 (UTC).<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
