Based in Athens, Greece, Poseidon Containers is a leading owner and operator of container ships.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>PCON will offer 15,380,000 shares at an expected price range of $14 to $16. If the underwriters price the IPO at the mid-point of that range, PCON will have a market capitalization of $517 million.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>PCON filed for the IPO on June 15, 2015.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Lead Underwriters: Deutsche Bank Securities, Jeffries LLC, Morgan Stanley and UBS Investment Bank<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Underwriters: ABN AMRO Securities, Citigroup Global Markets, Credit Agricole Securities, DVB Capital Markets, and Unicredit Capital Markets<\/P>Business Summary: Leading Owner and Operator of Container Ships<br \/>\n<P>Based in Athens, Greece, Poseidon Container Holdings Corp. owns and charters a fleet of 18 container ships. In its SEC filings, the company<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasdaq.com\/markets\/ipos\/filing.ashx?filingid=10336008#D942465DF1A_HTM_ROM942465_1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">stated<\/A>that it intends to expand its fleet with modern, high-specification container ships that have carrying capacities of 1,000 to 11,000 TEU. These ships are generally more fuel-efficient that earlier models and have wider-beams which produces lower fuel consumption and higher carrying capacity. Poseidon estimated that through May, only about 200 ships in service fit this modern model, representing a mere<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasdaq.com\/markets\/ipos\/filing.ashx?filingid=10336008#D942465DF1A_HTM_ROM942465_1\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">4 percent<\/A>of worldwide container ship fleets.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Poseidon intends to use the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasdaq.com\/markets\/ipos\/filing.ashx?filingid=10336008#D942465DF1A_HTM_ROM942465_6\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">proceeds<\/A>of this offering to increase the size of their fleet through appropriately timed acquisitions of additional fuel-efficient containerships, including four 8,063-TEU ships for $219.2 million, as well as general corporate purposes.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>Poseidon&#8217;s current fleet consists of ships ranging in size from 2,506 TEUs to 6,927 TEUs. Built between 1996 and 2013, the 18 vessels are on charter to companies including A.P. Moller-Maersk, UASC, &#8220;K&#8221; Line, OOCL, China Shipping, COSCO, ZIM, MOL, MSC, Evergreen, NOL, and Seaboard.<\/P>Executive Management: Combined 30+ Years in Shipping Industry<br \/>\n<P>CEO<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasdaq.com\/markets\/ipos\/filing.ashx?filingid=10336008#D942465DF1A_HTM_ROM942465_14\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">George Giouroukos<\/A>has been in his position since September 2014. He has over 22 years of experience in the shipping industry, and he founded Technomar and ConChart. Mr. Giouroukos holds a bachelor degree in mechanical engineering from University College of London University and a master&#8217;s degree in engineering from Brunel University. Mr. Giouroukos also serves as director and the chief executive officer of Black Pearl and Dynamic Bulk LLC, and as director, president and legal representative of Technomar Shipping Inc.<\/P><br \/>\n<P>CFO<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nasdaq.com\/markets\/ipos\/filing.ashx?filingid=10336008#D942465DF1A_HTM_ROM942465_14\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Anastasios Psaropoulos<\/A>has over 11 years of experience in the finance and shipping industries. He has been in his current position since 2011. His previous experience involves positions at Leon Shipping and Trading, Dolphin Capital Investors and Pricewaterhouse Coopers.
