TMS Cardiff Gas inks Long Term LNG Carrier Charter agreement with Total

Operator and manager of LNG carriers TMS Cardiff Gas reached a long term time charter agreement with Total Gas & Power Limited for one of its eleven under construction LNG carriers, it was announced.

Under the deal, one of the company’s X Carrier Series vessels will be hired for a minimum seven years.

The 174,000 cubic meter vessel with XDF propulsion and sub cooling system is being constructed at Samsung Heavy Industries (SHI).

TMS Cardiff Gas currently operates and manages 16 LNG carriers and has invested in long term charter strategy.

The new deal sets the stage for the company’s further growth with significant long term coverage and backlog,” Christos Economou, Founder of TMS Cardiff Gas, said.
