ROSGEOLOGIA DISCUSSES POSSIBILITIES OF IMPLEMENTING PROJECTS IN GREECE
General Director of JSC Rosgeologia Roman Panov met with the Minister for Industrial Reconstruction, Environment and Energy of the Republic of Greece Panagiotis Lafazanis and the President of Capelouzos Group Company Dimitrios Copelouzos.

As a result of the meeting with the Minister, the agreement on the organization of cooperation in the field of geology and subsurface use in Greece, both at the level of State-owned companies and private companies was reached. The decision was made to establish a joint working group consisting of representatives of Rosgeologia and the Ministry, which will be responsible for the organization of work in the field of geology and in the energy sector. Particular attention will be paid to the issues of replenishment of the mineral-raw-material base of the State and necessity to increase exploration of new mineral deposits, as well as to the search for thermal sources of underground water for generation of electric energy and subsequent construction of the hydrothermal energy sources in the country, and to 2D and 3D seismic exploration of the shelf of the Aegean Sea.
