PPA S.A.: Visit of the Italian Ambassador and a delegation of the Italian Embassy to the Port of Piraeus

18 February 2025. The Italian Ambassador to Greece, Mr. Paolo Cuculi, accompanied by Mr. Mario Savona, First Secretary of the Italian Embassy, and Mr. Mauro Renaldi, Honorary Consul of Italy in Piraeus, visited the Port of Piraeus.

The delegation held a high-level meeting with PPA S.A. CEO, Mr. Su Xudong, and Deputy CEO, Cpt. Jin Beiyuan, focusing on port development, strategic investments, and international collaborations. Discussions underscored Piraeus pivotal role as one of Europe’s most influential ports and a key hub in global trade and logistics.

During the meeting, participants emphasized the port’s significance for the shipping industry and the local economy, highlighting the opportunities arising from its continuous development. The dialogue also reinforced the importance of strong partnerships and stakeholder synergies to maximize value for both the local and international maritime community.
