PCT S.A: Captain Wang Jihang new Managing Director of Piraeus Container Terminal
On September 7th 2023, COSCO SHIPPING Ports appointed Captain Wang Jihang into Managing Director of Piraeus Container Terminal (PCT S.A.). Wang Jihang was appointed Chief Operations Officer of Piraeus Container Terminal (PCT), in 2017 and Deputy General Manager of PCT in 2020. He has served as the Executive Deputy Managing Director of Piraeus Container Terminal, Greece since 2021.
Captain Wang Jihang has been with COSCO SHIPPING Group family for more than 25 years, accumulating extensive experience in ship operation, shipping management and terminal operations management.
As Managing Director, Captain Wang Jihang will continue to be responsible for all managerial and strategic operations of PCT in pursuit of excellence, while playing a critical role in leading an aspiring future for the organization.
While addressing all PCT employees following his appointment as Managing Director, Capt. Wang Jihang said: “I would like to express my gratitude to Mr. Zhang Anming and COSCO SHIPPING Ports HQ for their trust and support. It is because of your trust and support that I have been able to step into such an honorable and important position today. While I am excited, I also feel a great sense of responsibility to take on this challenging and fulfilling role. Captain Wang Jihang succeeds Mr. Zhang Anming following a successful tenure for the growth and prosperity of PCT and Piraeus Port. PCT S.A. wishes Mr. Zhang Anming best of success in the position that COSCO SHIPPING Group has trusted him to serve.
