PCT A S.A.: Increased container traffic at its tow terminals

Due to the constant improvement in trade with European markets, container traffic in the first eight months of 2023 from the two terminals of PCT S.A. has increased by 4.7% compared to the same period in 2022, with a total of approximately 3.046 million containers being handled, as opposed to approximately 2.908 million in the corresponding period of 2022.

In August 2023 alone, a total of 410.400 containers were handled at PCT’s terminals II and III, compared to 373.100 in the same month of 2022, representing a 10% increase.

This significant performance positions Piraeus as the fourth largest port in the EU after Rotterdam, Antwerp-Bruges, and Hamburg.
