Navios fixes trio
The Angeliki Frangou-led owner has chartered out the 298,000-dwt Nave Galactic (built 2009) at a rate based on the TD3-TCE index.
Navios will receive 100\% of the index rate up to $39,500 net per day and 50\% of any amount higher than that.
The minimum price of the contract is $29,625 per day.
Navios acquired the Nave Galactic alongside two other tankers in November 2013, for approximately $163m en bloc.
In another deal, the 50,922-dwt Nave Equinox and Nave Pulsar (both built 2007) have been hired by an unnamed charterer for one year each and they are expected to jointly generate $6.4m of EBITDA.
The Nave Equinox won a rate of $15,650 per day plus an ice-transit premium of $1,900 daily.
Navios chartered out the Nave Pulsar for a daily price of $15,553 with an ice-transit premium of $1,975.
Both vessels are on charter that ends in May 2015 at a daily rate of $14,813.
