Greek shipping industry representatives exchanged wishes during WIMA’s cake cutting

W.I.M.A’s New Year cake cutting event was held at Piraeus a few days ago in a warm atmosphere with members and other representatives of the Greek shipping industry exchanging wishes for a better future.
“In 2006 we started 15 companies and today we have 65 members. We remain united and strong, “said Elias Hajiefremidis, President of W.I.M.A., and General Manager of HAJIEFREMIDIS S.A. addressing the event.
“W.I.M.A. shows that partnerships bring the results the Greek economy needs,” noted Andrianos Michalaros, President of the Piraeus Chamber of HandiCrafts.
“Synergies will save our country,” added Antonis Steliatos, president of the Hellenic Professional Yacht Owners Association.
“When we are united behind a cluster we can go abroad stronger,” underlined Mr. George Pateras, President of the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping.
Finally, Mr. George Xiradakis, Managing Director of XRTC Business Consultants, said that “new investments and faith in the sea and in the Greek minds should not be lost. Through clusters and joint ventures SMEs will be able to meet the demands of international shipping today, as knowledge dissemination reduces the cost of ship management. “
