Greece: A story of “adjustment” to a story of growth, competitiveness and investment-grade credibility
In the context of the 27th Annual Capital Link “Invest in Greece” Forum, “Building on Success: Unlocking Greece’s Investment Potential,” held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the Metropolitan Club in New York City, Capital Link hosted a High-Level Minister–Investor Meeting with a selected group of international investors.
With a 27-year track record, the Forum has become a key bridge between Greece and the international investment community, showcasing the country’s economic performance and investment opportunities. Discussions this year highlighted Greece’s strong growth performance
compared to the euro area, its return to investment-grade status and the continued reform drive that underpins a predictable, investment-friendly environment.
The Meeting was moderated by Dr. Marinos Giannopoulos, CEO of Enterprise Greece, who underlined Greece’s transition from a story of “adjustment” to a story of growth, competitiveness and investment-grade credibility, driven by fiscal responsibility, reforms and strong FDI and export performance.

investment approach and a broad wave of reforms. He stressed that Greece is now a highly attractive investment destination, as demonstrated by major investments from companies such as Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Pfizer, Cisco, and more recently Chevron and Exxon in the energy sector, and invited U.S. investors to follow this example.
