27.09.2021

YINCHUAN, Sept. 26 (Xinhua) — As an emerging wine producing area in the world, the eastern foot of Helan Mountain in northwest China’s Ningxia is witnessing a boom in wine tourism.

Yuanshi Vineyard is a typical Chinese-style winery. With a 10-kilometer-long stone wall, it’s built on an abandoned sand quarry. Here visitors can taste good wine and learn its history and culture.

More than 210 vineyards have been built or are under construction in Ningxia, among which 40 percent have become tourism spots receiving 60,0000 tourists annually.
