GLOBALink | Land-sea trade route facilitates trade between SW China, SE Asia

CHONGQING, Oct. 30 (Xinhua) — A land-sea trade route has facilitated trade between southwest China and Southeast Asian nations.
The New International Land-Sea Trade Corridor is a trade and logistics passage jointly built by Singapore and provincial-level regions of western China.
The corridor has expanded its reach to 308 ports in 106 countries and regions worldwide, and more than 640 kinds of goods are transported.
Southwest China’s Chongqing Municipality is the center of operations for the corridor.
It witnessed nearly 1,500 rail-sea freight trips in the first three quarters of this year, up 77 percent year on year.
