Ships provide information that is usable by the company, and its appropriate management increases the efficiency and the safety of the ship, reducing costs at the same time, as Mr. Giorgos Christopoulos, Vice Admiral Engineer of Hellenic Navy (Rtd), Marine Operations, LAROS- Prisma Electronics S.A. points out, speaking at maritimes TV, in the context of the 3rd Naftemporiki Shipping Conference.  

He stresses that shipping companies, which will adapt to the new technologies, will have the absolute gain. He speaks about the telemetry system LAROS by Prisma Electronics, a system that introduces the shipping company in the Smart Shipping area.
