“It was accredited as Greek body for first time, first in Europe. We wanted to get out first in Europe, we wanted a Greek body first accredited in Europe and I think it deserves congratulations” points out to maritimes TV Mr. Giorgos Kallergis, Director of Bodies Accreditation Division at EMICERT, which completed the ISO 14065 accreditation process under the 2015/757 European Regulation (EU MRV).

“And what does “accreditation” mean? It means greater confidence that this body has far greater technical capacity” notes Mr. Kallergis.    

“We get ahead of other verification organizations in Europe, because we felt that Greek shipping needs support to this route in time. It manages 40\% of the fleet at European level, which falls under the MRV Regulation and in a sense we should be ready to support it” says Mr. Kostas Antoniadis, Director of EMICERT, for his part.

He also speaks about the experienced executive human resources of EMICERT, many years of experience that has in environmental issues, while he highlights that EMICERT is a leader in the verification/ certification sector in Greece and in several European countries, as well as multinational companies trust its services.
