Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) Statement regarding the meeting with the Prime Minister of Greece, held on 22 October 2024

The meeting between CLIA and the Greek Prime Minister, Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis, underscored our mutual commitment to cooperate on the sustainable development of the cruise industry in Greece. We appreciated the opportunity to engage in a constructive discussion on how to work together as part of a holistic approach towards responsible tourism, to enhance the experience for visitors and local residents alike.

We look forward to continuing our dialogue with the Ministries of Tourism and Maritime Affairs to explore practical solutions to tourism management.
