On Wednesday, November 22, 2017, Piraeus Marine Club held one more of the well-established Working Luncheon, in which issues of prominence are discussed, this time with honored guest speakers, British Minister of State Lord Callanan, Deputy Head of Department for BREXIT (DexEU) and British Ambassador to Greece Her Excellency Ms Kate Smith CMG.
Lord Callahan, in his speech, referred to BREXIT’s current developments and to the prospects and possibilities for Hellenic Merchant Shipping to intervene and assist in this process.
Members had the opportunity to ask the distinguished speakers questions and deepen on their subjects, causing debates that lasted until the afternoon.
