Shipping is an important factor in the Greek banking industry, Yannis Stournaras, Governor of the Bank of Greece, told maritimesTV
He points out that during the capital controls banks had revenue from shipping; the industry has very low red loan rates, while we are already seeing positive growth trends in shipping financing.

Greece is now in the focus of major banks such as Chinese banks that will be present in the country, he said.
